Habitat
Rivers and stony lakes. It may also be attracted to light.

May to September.
Life History
Larva spins a pouch shaped net in slow moving water.
UK Status
Common and widespread in Britain.
VC55 Status
Fairly frequent in Leicestershire and Rutland.
