Description
Length 3 to 4 mm. A distinctive species due to the cross-veins in the cells of the clavus (the V-shaped area of the forewing extending behind the pronotum). The cells often have dark edges. The vertex has a pale cross-shaped amrk, and the frons is mainly dark, often with a paler central spot
