Choleva beetles have long legs and antennae but are hard to distinguish. This specimen is likely to be Choleva spadicea but this has not been confirmed

UK Status
Widespread in England, but it is difficult to know just how common the species is due to lack of reliable records.
VC55 Status
Occasional in Leicestershire and Rutland. There were a total of 10 VC55 records for this species up to March 2015.
