May is a peak month.
It is associated with Dog's Mercury upon which it feeds. Its larvae feed on the plant's roots.
Reasonably frequent in England and Wales.
Infrequent in Leicestershire and Rutland. There were a total of 11 VC55 records for this species up to March 2015.
