Description

The mite Cecidophyopsis psilaspis causes galls to form on the buds of Yew, Taxus baccata.  Mites live within the swollen and distorted leaves inside the bud.

Taxomyia taxi (a gall-midge) causes galls large 'artichoke' galls in the terminal bud of Yew
