The Leicestershire and Rutland Ornithological Society (LROS) and Leicester City Council will be delivering a talk showcasing Leicester’s fastest inhabitants, the Peregrine Falcon. Starting at 11.15am on Saturday the 15th of July at the Guildhall, we will cover why the Peregrines have called Leicester their home and where we plan to go with the Leicester Peregrine Project in the future. This will be followed by a Peregrine ‘Watch Point’ in Cathedral Gardens where binoculars and scopes will be provided to view the birds on the Cathedral spire. Read more.
