Mosses and Liverworts - A Walk in Knighton Park

Knighton Park.  Meet next to the car park at the main Palmerston Way entrance to the park at 2.00 pm.

Mosses and liverworts are everywhere but easily overlooked. Close examination, however, reveals their true beauty and opens a whole new world of these tiny plants. Knighton Park has a diverse bryophyte flora and we will have a closer look at some of the common and distinctive species.  The walk will be led by Uta Hamzaoui, County Recorder for Bryophytes.
