Knighton is one of the greenest parts of the city, and our street and garden trees are an important feature of our urban landscape.
But what contribution do they make to the quality of our life?  Can you put an economic value on the services they provide - filtering out pollution, screening houses from noise, reducing carbon dioxide, producing oxygen and making the world we live in more attractive?  Come and find out.
This year Knighton Wild plans to carry out a survey of our street trees and identify the benefits that they provide to us.
